Vanilla Ninja have been selected to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 after winning Eesti Laul with the song “Too Epic to Be True”. The national final took place at the Unibet Arena in Tallinn, where twelve artists competed for the opportunity to perform on the Eurovision stage in Vienna.

The results were decided over two rounds of voting. In the first round, an international jury and the public each contributed fifty percent of the outcome, selecting three superfinalists: Ollie, NOËP and Vanilla Ninja. The winner was then determined solely by public vote, with Vanilla Ninja finishing first, followed by NOËP in second place and Ollie in third.

The show also featured guest performances that added to the evening’s celebration of Estonian music, while maintaining a strong focus on the competing entries. The victory marks a significant return for Vanilla Ninja, a group already familiar to many European audiences.

Estonia will compete in the second half of the first semi final on May 12. The country continues to rely on Eesti Laul as its Eurovision selection format, a system that has delivered consistent qualification results over recent years.

With their selection now confirmed, attention turns to how “Too Epic to Be True” will translate to the Eurovision stage and whether Estonia can build on its history of memorable performances at the contest.
