With the Eurovision Grand Final quickly approaching, all eyes are on the betting odds but as long-time fans know, everything can change during rehearsals. Here’s a full breakdown of where each country stands right now, what potential they hold, and which entries are unfairly overlooked.

Current Top Contenders
🇸🇪 Sweden – KAJ – “Bara Bada Bastu”
Sweden currently leads the pack with a 33% chance of winning. The sauna-themed, tongue-in-cheek entry by KAJ is making waves for its creativity and charm.

🇦🇹 Austria – JJ – “Wasted Love”
Austria is second, but many believe it’s only a matter of time before it takes the top spot. With emotional depth and a strong vocal performance, “Wasted Love” could become unstoppable after rehearsals begin.

🇫🇷 France – Louane – “Maman”
Louane’s heartfelt ballad sits at third place with a 9% chance of winning. Its simplicity and emotional resonance have won over many early listeners.

The Countries to Watch
This contest is never set in stone. As we’ve seen in past years, the odds can flip dramatically after rehearsals and semi-finals.

🇮🇱 Israel and 🇳🇱 Netherlands are sitting comfortably in the top 5.

🇫🇮 Finland, 🇧🇪 Belgium, and 🇪🇪 Estonia are lingering in the top 10 with strong, unique entries that could surprise.

Undervalued Songs
🇦🇱 Albania – Shkodra Elektronike – “Zjerm”
Currently in 10th place, but deserves top 5 (we think this will happen). Its ethnic-electronic fusion is fresh, original, and could stand out on stage; expect a major jump if the staging impresses.

🇲🇹 Malta – Miriana Conte – “Serving”
Why isn’t this in the top 10? The song is energetic and polished. Unfortunately, Malta often suffers in the televote due to limited diaspora, and that’s likely keeping its odds low.

🇳🇴 Norway & 🇬🇷 Greece
Both countries have a long history of strong Eurovision results, yet neither is currently in the top 15. Their entries have potential and could easily rise once live rehearsals kick in.

The Cold End: Bottom Countries
Some countries just haven’t made an impact yet, either due to low exposure or songs that didn’t connect:
🇬🇪 Georgia “Freedom”
🇷🇸 Serbia “Mila”
🇵🇹 Portugal “Deslocado”

These entries may still evolve with staging changes even if the songs are oldish and so generic. Anyway, for now, they remain at the bottom of the betting charts.

Eurovision is as unpredictable as ever. While Sweden leads and Austria is poised to overtake, nothing is certain. From Malta’s overlooked potential to Albania’s dramatic flair, and the shockingly low odds for Norway and Greece, anything can happen after the first dress rehearsal.

So… don’t place your bets just yet! Things are about to get interesting as always in Eurovision.
