The small nation’s saga in Eurovision Song Contest continues, after San Marino surprisingly announced their participation for the 2025 edition later last week.

SMRTV revealed today that the sumissions for the 4th edition of Una Voce per San Marino were oppened and they are set to be closed on 31st of December 2024. Simillar to last year, everyone is welcomed to submit an aplication, no matter the country of origin or nationality.

The live audition phase in front of the jury will happen between September and January, were the newcomers will try to snatch one of the places for the Semifinals which will take place early February. We should expect some established participants as well.

In the end, 11 acts are expected to participate in the Grand Final in order to pick the best one to wave the flag for San Marino in ESC 2025.

San Marino in Eurovision

San Marino made its Eurovision debut in 2008. Since then, the microstate has participated 15 times, with its best result being a 19th place finish achieved by Serhat in 2019. In the most recent edition, Megara failed to advance to the Grand Final, marking the third consecutive year that San Marino did not qualify.
