After Montenegro will return after a pause of 3 years in the Eurovision Song Contest, the Montenegrin Broadcaster RTCG announced the dates of this year’s edition, which will determine the Balkan country’s representative.

In August 2024, the small Balkan country, Montenegro officially announced that it will return in the ESC. Therefore, Montenegro is the first returning country of the season and hopefully, we dream to welcome others too. After weeks of discussion, RTCG, the Montenegrin broadcaster announced that they will host the national final this year. This news surprised us, as a national final hasn’t been so early organised since many years.

Furthermore, RTCG announced that the Montesong 2024 will be held this year in the month of November. The Montenegrin national final will have its dates as following:

• Semifinal: Tuesday, November 26 2024.
• Final: Wednesday, November 27 2024.
