Tonight’s Sanremo Music Festival grand final is one of the biggest music events of the year, featuring all 30 competing songs that have battled through four nights of performances at the historic Teatro Ariston in Sanremo. The show kicks off at 20:40 CET and is expected to run into the early hours of 28 February as the artists give their final performances before the votes are tallied.

You can follow every moment live on Rai 1 in Italy or stream the full broadcast — including pre-show coverage and extra backstage content — for free on RaiPlay. Outside Italy, RaiPlay often remains the best way to watch the festival globally, and it may also be available through Rai Italia on satellite or international TV platforms.

In the final, all 30 artists return with their original entries before a superfinal round featuring the top 5. The overall winner will be decided through a mix of public televote, press jury and radio jury, and — crucially for Eurovision fans — the champion earns the right to choose whether or not to accept the invitation to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.

Bookmakers have already been shaping the conversation around potential victors: names like Fedez & Marco Masini and Sal Da Vinci are among the leading favourites according to recent betting odds, with Serena Brancale and Arisa also mentioned as strong contenders.

Will our bloggers’ favourite, LDA & Aka7even with “Poesie clandestine match the public and jury tonight and win the chance to represent Italy in Vienna?

Listen to last year’s winner of Sanremo!
